Training Market Data Assessment Domestic Tourists 2017

Training Market Data Assessment Domestic Tourists 2017 is a collaborative activity between BPS and the Ministry of Tourism. The purpose of this activity is to collect data on the characteristics of domestic tourists or Indonesian who travel in the territory of Indonesia. Previously Wisnus data was covered in the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) Kor, but since 2016 the Ministry of Tourism and BPS collaborated to perform an exclusive data collection on profile of domestic tourists and the number of Indonesian travelers. The cooperation continues until 2017, which is a follow-up activity from the previous year.

For two consecutive years Maluku Tenggara Regency was selected to be a sample. On Friday, September 15th, 2017, training Market Data Assessment Domestic Tourists 2017 officers of Maluku Tenggara Regency conducted at Hotel Suita, Langgur. The training was attended by BPS staff of the Maluku Tenggara Regency and the statistical partners. This training aims to provide understanding to field officers related to the purpose of activities and concepts used so that the data produced can reflect the portrait of domestic tourists.
