Abstract
March 2018 the level of inequality of Maluku population expenditure measured using Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.343.Compared to September 2017 Gini Ratio of Maluku in March 2018 rose by 0.022 points, which in September 2017 was recorded at 0.321. By region, Gini Ratio in March 2018 in urban and rural areas both increased by 0.007 points and 0.001 points when compared with September 2017.
In March 2018, the distribution of expenditure of the lowest 40 percent population group was 19.40 percent. This means that the population expenditure is still in the category of low level of inequality. Specified by region, in urban areas the figure is 21.21 percent and for rural areas the figure is 22.29 percent. Both are categories of low inequality.
