Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Maluku in June 2018 reached 24.52 percent or decreased by 16.58 points compared to May 2018. Similarly, when compared with the TPK in June 2017 which was recorded at 38.79 percent, the ROR for star hotel in Maluku experienced decrease of 14.27 points.

Non-star hotel room occupancy rate (TPK) of non-star hotels in Maluku in June 2018 reached 17.79 percent or decreased by 6.36 points compared to May 2018. If compared to the TPK in June 2017 (19.68 percent), non-star hotel TPK in Maluku decreased 1.89 points. The number of foreign guests staying at starred hotels in Maluku during June 2018 was 367, or decreased 25.86 percent compared to May 2018. Domestic guests totaled 6,502 people, down 33.00 percent compared to May 2018.
