Maluku Economic Growth in Quarter IV-2020

Maluku economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) based on the prevailing prices for the fourth quarter of 2020 reached 11.68 trillion rupiah and at constant prices 2010 reached 7.74 trillion rupiah. Maluku economy in the fourth quarter of 2020 contracted by 3.42 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the highest contraction was triggered by the transportation and warehousing category at 18.72 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest contraction was the component of foreign exports which contracted by 5.96 percent. Maluku economy in quarter IV-2020 experienced a growth of 1.24 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest growth was in the electricity and gas supply business field, amounting to 12.76 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was triggered by the component of foreign exports, which grew by 193.10 percent. The economy of Maluku in the fourth quarter of 2020 (c-to-c) experienced a growth contraction of 0.92 percent. From the production side, the highest growth contraction was in the transportation and warehousing business, amounting to 13.36 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth contraction was in the component of Foreign Imports which contracted by 19.64 percent.
