Abstract

 November 2023 Tual City experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 3.15 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 118.00. While Ambon City experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 2.96 percent with a CPI of 119.61.
 Of the 90 CPI cities, the city with the highest yoy inflation was Tanjung Pandan City, which was 5.89 percent with a CPI of 120.62 and the lowest yoy inflation occurred in Jayapura City, which was 1.82 percent with a CPI of 112.99.
 Inflation in Tual City occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices. The increase in prices is indicated by an increase in 10 expenditure groups, the highest yoy inflation in the Transportation group by 9.71 percent and the lowest in the Education expenditure group by 0.25 percent. While 1 expenditure group experienced deflation, namely the Information, Communication and Financial Services Group by 0.15 percent.
 Monthly inflation rate/month to month (MTM) (November 2023 against October 2023) Tual City experienced inflation of -0.51 percent or deflation. While Ambon City experienced inflation of 0.56 percent.
 Calendar year/year to date (YTD) inflation rate (November 2023 against December 2022) Tual City experienced inflation of 2.32 percent. While Ambon City experienced inflation of 2.4 percent.
 The five dominant commodities that contributed to the November 2023 yoy inflation in Tual City are: Air Transportation (0.9055%), Rice (0.8173%), Filter Clove Cigarettes (0.427%), Household Fuel (0.3405%), Rice with Side Dish (0.2666%).
 While the 5 (five) commodities that dominantly contributed to November 2023 mtm inflation in Tual City are: Air Transportation (0.1349%), Cayenne Pepper (0.0858%), Rice (0.0485%), Lime/Lime (0.0437%), Enbal Gepe (0.0409%).
