Abstract

In April 2021, out of 90 CPI Cities in Indonesia, 72 cities experienced inflation and 18 cities experienced deflation.
Tual City experienced inflation of 0.52 percent with a CPI of 107.31 and Ambon City also experienced inflation of 0.16 percent with a CPI of 105.66
The highest inflation occurred in Kotamobagu at 1.31 percent with a CPI of 107.89 and the lowest occurred in Yogyakarta at 0.01 percent with a CPI of 106.92. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Jayapura at 1.26 percent with a CPI of 104.20 and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Pandan at 0.02 percent with a CPI of 107.83.
Out of 90 HK cities in Indonesia, in April 2021 Tual City's monthly inflation was ranked 15th (Ambon City 46th), Tual City's calendar year inflation ranked 40th (Ambon City 74th) and Tual City was ranked 15th (Ambon City ranked 89th).
Inflation occurred due to increases in several price indexes in several expenditure groups. With the highest increase occurring in the Food and Drink/Restaurant Providers group, which was 2.03 percent with a CPI of 109.45
There are 83 types of goods and services that experience price changes, most of which are food, beverages and tobacco. 51 types of goods and services experienced an increase in prices, with the highest increase occurring in tuna/komu, air transportation, mackerel/lema, soto, satay, shallots, selar fish/kawalinya, broiler chicken, long beans and men's Muslim clothes as types of goods that contributed to the inflation that occurred this month in Tual City.
Meanwhile, 32 types of goods and services experienced a decline in prices in April 2021 with the highest declines occurring in anchovies, rice, cars, mustard greens, cassava leaves, spinach, chicken eggs, papaya flowers, young papaya and cell phones.
