Abstract

  • In February 2021, out of 90 CPI cities in Indonesia, 56 cities experienced inflation and 34 cities experienced deflation.
  • The highest inflation was still found in Mamuju City at 1.12 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in Kota Tasikmalaya and Kota Sumenep with 0.02 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Gunung Sitoli City at 1.55 percent. The lowest deflation occurred in the City of Malang and the City of Tarakan at 0.01 percent.
  • Ambon City experienced deflation of 0.43 percent with a CPI of 105.09. The City of Tual also experienced deflation of 0.08 percent with a CPI of 106.55.
  • Out of 90 CPI Cities, Ambon City's CPI has dropped to 57th position. Tual City's CPI ranking also fell to position 28. Ambon City's monthly inflation was in the 79th position, calendar year inflation was 86th, while year-on-year inflation remained at 89th position.
