Abstract
• In Indonesia, 90 of the 90 CPI Cities experienced inflation in April 2022.
• The CPI in Tual City increased by 1.74 percent to 110.92, while the CPI in Ambon City increased by 0.72 percent to 109.99.
• Tanjung Pandan experienced the highest inflation, at 2.58 percent, with a CPI of 113.46, while Gunungsitoli experienced the lowest, at 0.22 percent, with a CPI of 110.58.
• Tual City, one of 90 HK Cities in Indonesia, was 83rd in terms of monthly inflation in April 2022 (Ambon City was placed 78th), 83rd in terms of calendar-year inflation, and 9th overall (Ambon City is ranked 3rd).
• The rise in a number of price indices across a number of expenditure categories is what caused inflation. The transportation sector saw the largest gain, 3.79 percent, with a CPI of 101.29.
